How can I renew my Virtbase server?

Learn how to renew your server with Virtbase.

To prevent your server from being shut down and deleted prematurely, we recommend renewing at least 5 days before expiration.

Renewal in the customer portal

To renew your server, follow these steps:

  1. Go to your server in the customer portal.
  2. Click on Plan in the navigation bar.
  3. Now select the desired package. For a regular renewal, the current package is already preselected.
  4. Confirm the renewal by clicking on Renew. You will then be redirected to the payment page.

After successful payment, your server will be renewed for another 30 days. The invoice will be stored in the customer portal and sent to you by email.

What happens if I don't renew my server?

We will send you an email 5 days before your server expires with a reminder to renew your server.

At the end of the term, the server will be suspended with another notification. This means that it cannot be started, nor can other relevant actions such as restoring the backup, reinstalling, or making changes to the firewall be performed.

If your server has been suspended, you have 5 more days to renew it. After that, your server will be permanently deleted with another notification. Please note that we cannot restore any data in this case.
